Jeremy White is a research assistant at the Center for Strategic & International Studies in the International Security Program, where he works on defense and homeland security issues. Jeremy started at CSIS interning in the Homeland Security Program and was later hired full time to work as a staffer on the Independent Commission on the Security forces of Iraq more commonly known as the General Jones Commission. He was one of the principal authors of the Beyond Goldwater Nichols report entitled "Facilitating a Dialogue among Senior-Level DoD Officials on National Security Priorities: A Methodological Note" in which he outlined future homeland security threats facing the next presidential administration. During his time at CSIS Jeremy has also contributed to a variety of other reports ranging in topic from catastrophic incident response to nuclear weapons. Jeremy graduated in May 2007 with a B.A. from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where he majored in government and minored in history. He has had several internships in Washington D.C., including work in the Senate and at a think tank focusing on Iran.
