Brian currently serves as Sabot 6's Vice President for Business Development. In this capacity, he seeks out companies with strong leaders and innovative products and services that can value from Sabot 6's expertise in Strategic Management Services and benefit from Sabot 6's core competencies in Energy and Security.
Prior to his roll in Business Development, Brian served as the Operations Specialist for the OSD Power Surety Task Force, part of the Director of Defense Research and Engineering's Energy Security Task Force. There he synchronized operations of a 9 person team focused on reducing the use and transportation of fossil fuels in the U.S. Central Command Area of Responsibility, specifically Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and the Horn of Africa. Brian is also co-founder of the Power Surety Task Force, which he helped start as an Air Force Captain working in the U.S. Army Rapid Equipping Force.
Brian began his career as an Air Force Acquisition Officer serving in technology development and transition at the United States Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). There he worked with commercial companies, government engineers and warfighters to transition cutting edge technology from the laboratory to the operational environment. His last position with AFRL was at Applied Minds, Inc, where he helped develop the strategic partnership between AFRL and the Glendale, CA-based applied consulting firm.
Brian was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant from Air Force ROTC Detachment 365 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He holds an Arts Baccalaureate in Economics from Harvard University and is currently working on his MBA at Georgetown University. He grew up in Lee's Summit, Missouri and currently lives in Arlington, Virginia.
